Anger Testimonials

Anger is something that creeps up on you and you don't even realize it. I would find myself lashing out and not walking in love and forgiveness and sometimes not even knowing what was going on. Then, the Lord started to reveal to me the bad fruit in my life. It lead me into a process of finding where the bad fruit came from. I found that I was not walking in forgiveness and had to learn to lay down those things that offended me. I made a choice to start walking in forgiveness. Satan would come back and try to tell me I have not forgiven someone but I know that is not true. I stand against that lie and choose to walk in the truth. If I choose to submit to God by forgiving others, resist the devil and the lies he is telling me, then the devil has to leave. I do not have to live in the emotional bad fruit of anger because I have followed God's command to forgive now. Forgiveness is not a feeling or emotion. It is a choice and a decision to turn away from (repent) from the sin of holding others in account for what they have done. If I don't forgive I will be caught in the trap that the devil set for me. Thank God He has given us the ability to see it and be set free from that trap in Jesus!!!

Praise the Lord, He has set me free from connections with the occult, alcohol,lust, anger, suicide, impure thoughts, drugs, Jesus has given me freedom in so many areas of my life. Again praise the Lord.

I went through a divorce and it was very difficult realigning my life. A lot of people hurt me during the process. I was begging the Lord to help me forgive them and did, I had forgotten about it so I came to this session a couple of months ago, and since that time God has been doing a lot of cleansing house in me; issues I had stored etc.. And people who had hurt me in the past have been coming to me and saying I feel like I need to apologize to you – then they apologize and I thought the wonderful thing about it is I didn’t need their apology anymore but initially I thought I did. God showed me that He was growing me because it no longer mattered whether they apologized. God is good!

We prayed last week about my anger. Well, since you prayed for me I’ve been tested; Over and Over and Over again. But I have come through and overcome! The overcomer – the enemy’s tricks don’t work anymore! I've survived the blitz, the surge everything. The Word of God and Blood of Jesus. It tried to make me think it wasn't gone but I denied it the right to stay and proved it again and again in Jesus name.

The Free Indeed Series -- was very freeing. I came with anger issues and things that I just couldn’t grasp and when I prayed for those roots to be ripped out, I wasn’t sure which one I wanted ripped out, God ripped out one I didn’t even know I had which seemed to solve all the other problems that went with it; It was just, Clearly, a freeing, freeing thing. It saved me thousands of dollars in psychiatrists’ fees – one two hour session of repenting & praying. God is good!

After your teaching I came to recognize that my family -- especially the men -- has a pattern of anger. I have it, my father did and I can see it in my son also. We have always said this is our family temper, accepted it like it was o.k. and we couldn’t do anything about it. I now know that is not true and it ends today thanks to Jesus.
